Absolutely Incredible Kid Day 2025
Kids are our future — the most precious resource we have! Daily, youth do amazing things. For example, their unique approach to problem solving leverages imagination and curiosity, leading them to discover insightful — and often overlooked — solutions. At Camp Fire, we recognize, celebrate, and encourage youth to find and develop their sparks. Each year since 1997, on the third Thursday of March, we welcome other adults to join us in celebrating youth during Absolutely Incredible Kid Day.
The Goal of AIKD
Kids are the key to a brighter future. When adults invest kindness and support into youth, they leave lasting impacts, helping kids develop into strong individuals who lead with emotional intelligence, integrity, and understanding. AIKD provides the opportunity and tools for adults across the nation to support the children in their lives!

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day 2025 lanyards and letters!
Site Celebrations
This year for AIKD, Camp Fire Alaska staff gifted each Camp Fire kid a personalized, handwritten letter that detailed what makes them Absolutely Incredible. Youth also received Camp Fire branded lanyards with the words “I am Absolutely Incredible” printed on them in bold! The youth enjoyed decorating and filling the lanyard sleeves with their photos. The badges were a hit amongst the kids, boosting their confidence and filling them with “I’m the boss” energy.

Throughout the evening, kids and their families took part in fun activities like clay sculpting, s’more-making, and coloring.
AIKD Impact
Camp Fire thanks every adult who shows up for youth. By being there for children and sharing words of encouragement, you help to make our future brighter. Here’s to all the spectacular, wonderfully silly, beautifully honest, and Absolutely Incredible kids in our lives!
