Jamal believes in quality program for the youth at Camp Fire. He has a background in education and specializes in behavioral techniques to foster growth and development in youth. He was a former RBT and has a CYC-P. Born and raised overseas, he has an appreciation for cultural diversity and wants to ensure the youth's familial beliefs and traditions are respected. He has been with Camp Fire for seven months, serving as a Summer Adventure Camp site director at Tyson and Muldoon the summer of 2026. His hobbies include playing and coaching sports, reading, photography, and computer technology.

The Camp Fire Alaska main office operates on the ancestral land of the Dena’ina people.
