Letter from our President & CEO and Board Chair
Our 2025 Annual Report celebrates another year of growth and deepened community impact across Alaska. The successes of this past year were possible because of the generous support of donors, partners, staff, and volunteers—people like you who invest in Alaska’s greatest resource: our young people.
This year we marked many significant milestones. We broke ground on the long-awaited Electricity Project at Camp K, Camp Fireweed was approved for Child Care Assistance eligibility, and we celebrated community recognition through the Gold Pan Awards.
Summer camp brought joy, confidence, and lasting connection to children across the state, and our Women’s Retreat was a record-setting moment for renewal and support of camperships and facilities.
At the same time, we confronted challenges in Rural Alaska as funding changes reduced program scale. Yet even in a smaller year, we delivered meaningful experiences and remain committed to finding new pathways to serve rural families.
Thank you. Your belief in Camp Fire Alaska fuels programs that strengthen families, support local communities, and help young people discover the best in themselves and others.
Together, we build a brighter Alaska – one child, one family, one community at a time.
